Static or dynamic: which one?
The QR codes above are static: the data is encoded directly into the image. They are free, unlimited and never expire — unlike the "dynamic" QR codes most services charge a subscription for.
- Static QR (free) — perfect when the content doesn't change: Wi-Fi, vCard, fixed link, payment, poster.
- Dynamic QR (Pro) — when you want to change the destination after printing, track scans (stats), run an A/B test or tag a campaign (UTM). The printed QR stays the same; you edit where it points.
